Dear Members and Friends,
As the end of 2021 draws near, we have the opportunity to reflect on the past year and our many blessings. In spite of the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, Park East Synagogue has been able to continue its 132-year legacy of service to our community: as a spiritual home, as a historic house of worship, as an educational institution and simply a place to be together.
With the support of our wonderful members, we have been able to revitalize and expand our programming. We’re grateful for the opportunity to stay connected with you through our many events, services and programs, both online and in person. Additionally, our Day School, Hebrew School and Shkola programs are thriving and continue to provide world-class education for our children.
The longevity of our institution is heavily dependent on our fundraising efforts, which support our operating expenses, including the maintenance of our beautiful building, the best available COVID safety equipment, security personnel and systems.
With your tax-deductible contribution, we will be able to continue to protect our members’ health and safety as well as continue to provide the highest level of protection from security threats amid rising antisemitism. Your contribution will also help us in our mission to build a safe and vibrant Jewish community and strengthen our Jewish identity for generations to come.
