Guidelines for observance of Passover

Guidelines for observance of Passover:

We want to encourage our members to purchase all the necessary products for Passover in advance. If you are not able to get Matzah, please contact: [email protected].

This year, considering the social distancing requirements, the sale of Chametz will be done online authorizing me and my Rabbinic Colleagues to dispose of your Chametz. Please click the link: https://parkeastsynagogue.org/eventscalevent/sale-of-chametz-2020

Our annual Passover Fund has already shipped Kosher Pesach products to the Jewish community in Cuba, but this year we will also help families in our community who have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Passover Fund, please CLICK HERE

Helping others in the Community:
We are trying to reach as many people as possible on a daily basis who may need our help during this difficult and uncertain time. If you know of someone in our community in need of help, please do not hesitate to let us know by emailing [email protected].

Guidelines for observance of Yahrzeit:
In observance of Yahrzeit, one should light a candle, recite the Kel Maleh Rachamim, recite Psalm 16, 23, 121 (CLICK HERE), engage in Torah learning and give Tzedaka in memory of their loved one.

If you have any questions for our Rabbinic or Executive staff, please email: [email protected].

Shabbat Shalom and Chodesh Tov. May it be a Month of Life, Blessing and Peace.

Rabbi Arthur Schneier
