Park East Synagogue and United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Virtual Service, 76th Anniversary Liberation of Auschwitz

Park East Synagogue and the United Nations will host an International Holocaust Remembrance virtual service on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7:00PM. The theme is “Survivors’ Plea – Holocaust Education.” The program will mark the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz (January 27, 1945).
His Excellency António Guterres, UN Secretary General, and Rabbi Arthur Schneier will deliver remarks.
The program will include the participation of the diplomatic corps, students at Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School and music by Chief Cantor Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, Cantor Benny Rogosnitzky and the Park East Synagogue Choir, led by Conductor Maestro Russell Ger.
