All first-born Jewish males are to fast as an expression of gratitude to God who spared the Jewish first-born when their Egyptian counterparts were slain. Participation in a siyum\, the completion of the study of a Talmudic tractate\, is accepted in lieu of fasting. On Thursday\, April 10\, Morning Services will take place at 7:45am followed by Rabbi Harold Einsidler’s siyum on a Tractate\, followed by a festive breakfast. The traditional biur chametz\, the burning of the Chametz\, will take place on Friday\, on the first floor playground\, no later than 11:51am. Solomson was appointed by President Trump to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in February 2020.  Judge Solomson has issued notable decisions in areas spanning the court’s jurisdiction\, including procurement\, patent\, tax\, Fifth Amendment takings\, contract\, and military and civilian pay disputes.  Prior to joining the court\, Judge Solomson was Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for an $11B business unit of a Fortune 50 company\, practiced government contracts law with several Washington\, DC\, law firms—including Sidley Austin LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP—and was a Trial Attorney in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice.  He has served as counsel of record in dozens of cases before the National Courts\, which include the U.S. Court of Federal Claims\, the U.S. Court of International Trade\, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Following graduation from the University of Maryland’s JD/MBA program in 2002 (with honors and Order of the Coif)\, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Francis M. It is only then that they are ready to lead their squadron to victory. \nWatch the trailer below: \n \nAbout the Director\, Roy Hornshtein \nRoy Hornshtein\, born in Tel-Aviv\, lives with his wife and three children in Samaria. He is a graduate of the New York Film Academy and of the Tel-Aviv University film and television department. He grew up loving the Star Wars series and 1980s fighter-pilot movies such as Top Gun and Iron Eagle\, and he dreamed of making such a film here. Hornshtein\, who worked for 15 years to bring this story to the screen and was interviewed by phone recently on a break from military reserve duty\, said he had long wondered why no one had mined the IAF for on-screen drama: “How is it that no one made a movie about the Israeli Air Force? Every day\, it’s a screenwriter’s dream\, you can’t make this stuff up.” While the idea for the film may seem like a no-brainer now\, it took over five years to convince the Israel Film Fund to contribute to the budget. “It’s patriotic\, it’s not the typical Israeli film.”  Eventually\, they came on board\, as did the Shomron Film Fund and other funds. Knowing he wanted to tell a story about the IAF\, he chose Operation Focus\, “One of the greatest achievements for any air force\, ever\,” he said. Hornshtein is not a pilot himself\, but served in artillery\, so he relied on research and experts to help guide him in telling the story. “I could have done a film about artillery\, but it wouldn’t have been as cool as a movie about the air force\,” he said. “In Israel\, heroes are celebrated usually with grief on Remembrance Day….
