Our motto is “To save those who can be saved\, and honor what remains.” \nOn call 24/7 with a fleet of 30 ambulances and other emergency vehicles at our disposal\, we respond immediately to the highest global standards and draw on our extensive experience gained over the years. We work in close cooperation with all of Israel’s emergency services and security forces. \nIn recent days\, ZAKA volunteers have been working around the clock in order to save lives\, honor the deceased\, and provide answers to families desperately seeking news of their loved ones. Our volunteers have braved horrific scenes of bloodshed\, in which they assisted in bringing hundreds of victims to an honorable burial\, by collecting and identifying all body parts and human remains\, which is a most gruesome task\, but must nevertheless be done. \nZAKA not only continues to address the unprecedented need for its services\, in a social setting of shock\, stress and havoc. We also prepare – we must prepare – for the unknown days ahead. At this time\, our volunteers are operating – bravely – in extremely dangerous environments\, without shrapnel-proof helmets and vests. We thank you for your support during these challenging times.
