Bar and Bat Mitzvah in Park East
Park East Synagogue takes great pride in its hands on Bar and Bat Mitzvah program. Children that are to be Bar or Bat Mitzvah’d in Park East are to write a three page essay on what it is that makes them proud to be Jewish citing either a famous Jewish personality, concept or mitzvah. Once completed the Bar or Bat Mitzvah will present this paper in person to Rabbi Arthur Schneier.
